Way finder is the essential that is about finding your way around.
You should always have a compass and a map of the place you are going.
For Way Finder and certain rank advancement scouts will learn how to orient a map and how to find north(not Magnetic North).
It is a really helpful skill to have and your odds of finding a settlement if you are lost is increased.
